Everton reportedly to ship outcast off to the Middle East

As per the Liverpool Echo, out of favour Everton striker Oumar Niasse is set to join Turkish giants Fenerbahce despite being strongly linked with Brighton.

The Senegalese is said to have agreed personal terms with the club, and a permanent exit from Goodison Park will be completed once both sides agree a fee.

Niasse arrived Everton in January 2016 from Lokomotiv Moscow for £13.5million under former manager Roberto Martinez, but it took just 45 minutes in a pre-season game for him to completely fall out of favour with boss Ronald Koeman.

Since returning from a half-season loan move at Hull City where he scored all his 5 Premier League goals, Niasse has been linked with a couple of topflight and Championship sides, but it seems a move to the Middle East is close to being actualized.

The player has no Everton senior team goal to his name, though he did bag an hat-trick for the under-23’s last October in a 6-3 victory over Reading.

Niasse’s quality definitely doesn’t cut it for Koeman, but perhaps things would have been better for the strong striker were Martinez still in charge.

All that is in the past now, and Fenerbahce or not, the West African striker is on his way out of Everton for good this summer.
