West Ham are reportedly plotting ambitious move for 21-year-old attacker

According to reports, West Ham are interested in signing Celtic star Moussa Dembele though the youngster prefers moving to France.

The youngster has established himself as a much sought after player after scoring 32 goals from 48 appearances for the Hoops last season as they went on to claim an unbeaten domestic treble success.

The Hammers have reportedly made an offer for Dembele as they look to add more firepower to their attack, having already signed Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez this summer.

The East London club will however have to face stiff competition from defending French Ligue 1 Champions Monaco, who are preparing for life without Kylian Mbappe.

The 21-year-old Dembele is said to be keener on moving back to his homeland and the prospect of playing in the Champions League for Monaco may also appeal to him.

Though Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to keep Dembele, it is hard to see the player remaining with the Scottish giants for the long-term.
