Popular bookmakers SkyBet have listed Leeds United as 7/1 third favorites to sign Huddersfield striker Nahki Wells.
The Whites will need to find a new striker given that Chris Wood is set to join Burnley and achieve his dream of playing in the Premier League.
The New Zealand international Wood is expected to join Burnley for a figure in the region of £15 million which will provide Thomas Christiansen with sufficient funds to purchase a new striker.
The 27-year-old Wells has entered the final year of his contract and the Terriers may be open to listening to offers for him given that his first team prospects at the club may be limited this season especially following the arrival of new signings Steve Moonie and Laurent Depoitre.
Reading are currently 4/1 favorites to sign the player followed by Birmingham City at 13/2.
There will be no shortage of clubs interested in signing the Bermuda international so the Whites may have to move fast if they want to secure a deal.
