According to reports, Sporting Lisbon star William Carvalho is refusing to train with the Portuguese outfit amid speculation suggesting that he could be set to join West Ham.
It has been said that Carvalho who won Euro 2016 with Portugal is not happy with how Lisbon president Bruno de Carvalho is handling negotiations.
Despite Carvalho refusing to train with his team-mates, Lisbon have insisted that this is due to injury. Carvalho is however expected to join Slaven Bilic’s side before the end of the transfer window.
Lisbon and the Hammers are said to have reached an agreement over a €35 million transfer fee and are now said to be in discussion over additional bonuses and payment methods.
The Hammers have clearly been struggling defensively recently and that again showed during their 5-0 thrashing at the hands of Manchester United last week. Therefore, the addition of Carvalho will be good for the side.
