West Ham boss makes admission which is certain to please fans

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has said that he is not concerned about the possibility of losing Manuel Lanzini to Liverpool.

Recent reports have suggested that the Reds view the Argentina international Lanzini as a replacement for Philippe Coutinho, who has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona.

Bilic has said that he is not worried about losing Lanzini and said, “I said it last week before the Manchester United game – I speak to Manu every day. He’s very happy and really feels at home here. He feels wanted.

“You can see it, how he’s smiling. He broke into the national team with Argentina, he knows ‘if I’m playing here and have a good season with West Ham, I’ll have that chance’.”

Though the Hammers finished a disappointing 11th in the Premier League last season, Lanzini was one of the better players from the team and his creativity was particularly shown following the departure of Dimitri Payet in January.
