Kevin Thomson, former teammate of Kyle Lafferty during his time at Rangers, is confident that a return to the Ibrox with Hearts this weekend will not daunt the Ulsterman.
According to Daily Record, Gers midfielder Thomson is certain that the former Rangers forward will put up a strong fight as ever at Ibrox, even if he is not playing for the Gers this time around.
Thomson has now said about Lafferty’s return, “At Rangers he got caught up in the lifestyle of being a footballer rather than producing the goods. He was a talented player but he made wrong choices at times and probably got too much, too soon.”
While Kyle Lafferty is a great talent, he was not able to utilize it to the maximum during his time with Rangers and he could be set for a volatile welcome back to Ibrox.
Rangers are now focusing their attention on the visit of Hearts this weekend following the defeat against Hibs. With goaltender Foderingham in peak form, Caixinha will be confident of the Gers returning to their winning form.
