BC has reported that Celtic is about to sign a new deal with Stuart Armstrong. According to one of the world’s largest media networks, the 25-year-old midfielder will renew his deal with the Hoops.
The negotiations took place during the previous day, and both sides are close to reaching the deal.
It is believed that the new contract will be settled before this Saturday when the Hoops are going to play against Kilmarnock.
Armstrong had been playing for Dundee United youth selections, and in 2010 he had signed a first professional contract.
During his 5 years with the Terrors, he had appeared 126 times and scored 18 goals. In 2015 he moved to Celtic where he has scored 24 times in 109 appearances.
In the previous three seasons, Armstrong become one of the vital players or the club from Parkhead and this is why Brendan Rodgers wants to keep him in his team.
