West Ham star Michail Antonio reportedly feels that Liverpool should sell Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
Coutinho has been strongly linked with a move to the Spanish giants this summer, who are said to view him as a replacement for Neymar.
Barcelona are reportedly willing to fork out £90 million to secure the services of the Brazil international. The 25-year-old is also said to keen to join the La Liga club and handed in a transfer request to the Reds last week.
Given that the player wants to move, there is a chance that Jurgen Klopp’s side will end up selling at the end and now Antonio has said about the situation, “As a player, Barcelona come knocking you go.
“But I feel Liverpool is doing the right thing for the club because he is their best player, he makes things happen from nothing and standing their ground is decent.
“But then again would you want a player that doesn’t want to be at your club? I believe as a player, the club should let him go because his head has been turned. The effect it has on the group, the effect it has on the player himself.”
