Former Leeds United midfielder Andy Couzens has criticized fans of the Whites for their behaviour during the clubs goalless draw against Preston North End on Saturday.
The Yorkshire giants had a numerical advantage for the final 30 minutes of the game after Preston were reduced to ten men.
They however failed to break the deadlock as Chris Wood and EzgjanAlioski were guilty of wasting good opportunities.
Preston attempted to gain something from the match through time wasting and Leeds fans responded to this by booing, though it is unclear as to whether this was aimed at the Whites or Preston.
Following the game, Couzens criticized the fans of his former club on Twitter, stating, “Got to say I can’t people were booing at the end of the game yesterday!! Bang out of order if you were one of them yes disappointing result.”
There is no doubt that Thomas Christiansen will view this game as two points lost.
