According to reports, Celtic are hoping to secure another loan deal for Manchester City youngster Patrick Roberts ahead of their Champions League encounter against Astana on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old Roberts was highly successful during his 18 month loan stay with the Bhoys that ended following the conclusion of last season. During that time, he managed to win four trophies.
Roberts scored 11 goals and set up 19 last season to help Brendan Rodgers side to an unbeaten domestic treble.
It appears that the youngster is not part of the Citizens first team plans for the season ahead as he was left out of the side that beat Brighton 2-0 on Saturday.
Celtic are keen to snatch the player up on another loan deal. However City, boss Pep Guardiola may prefer loaning out the player to French Ligue 1 outfit Nice or Premier League side Southampton in order to test him in an elite League.
