Sunderland sanction the transfer of talented defender

Hammarby have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Oscar Krusnell from Sunderland on a three year deal.

Krusnell joined the Black Cats in 2015 and failed to break into the clubs first team, being used mainly for the youth sides.

His sale will be provide a much needed cash boost to the Black Cats, who are in need of money in order to purchase their summer transfer targets.

Krusnell will certainly be happy to be back in his homeland of Sweden, where he is highly rated and where he is sure to get more regular game time.

Hammarby Sports director Jesper Jansson said of the youngsters move, “He is the leading left back in his age range. He is a resident of the youth team and is the leading left back in his age team.”

The youngster will now be looking to reignite his career following a disappointing spell in England.
