Liverpool winger Ryan Kent, 20, has committed his future to the Merseyside club by agreeing to a new long-term deal, reports the club’s official website.
The England youth international impressed manager Jurgen Klopp during the club’s pre-season, playing 7 out of all 8 friendlies.
Having had loans stints at Coventry City and Barnsley of recent, what the immediate future holds for the Academy graduate who has been with the club since he was 7 is unknown.
While Klopp might decide to keep him as a backup for the season, Kent isn’t guaranteed a considerable amount of playing time due to the quality of those ahead of him on the pecking order.
However, Bundesliga side Hannover 96 are interested in having the highly-rated wideman on a season-long loan.
Kent’s chances of regular football are way much higher with the German topflight newcomers, and the experience garnered over there would do him a lot of good in his dreams of making it into the Liverpool first team soon.
