Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha was absolutely delighted with Alfredo Morelos performance against Dunfermline this Wednesday.
The 21-year-old scored two goals in the 6-0 victory, in Betfred Cup round of 16 played at Ibrox.
Following the game, the Portuguese manager had stated that the Colombian striker will have a long and efficient career at Ibrox and that this is just a start of his good performances.
“That’s just two goals I’m sure in a long career of scoring many more goals for Rangers.” Caixinha told the journalists.
At the beginning of this year, the Columbian youngster had signed a three-year deal, after he joined from HJK Helsinki. The value of the transfer was £1 million.
Besides Morelos, the Rangers boss praised the whole team saying that he is pleased with the control of the match and the overall approach from the players.
The Gers will play in the quarterfinals of the Betfred Cup against Partick Thistle away from home.
