According to reports, Liverpool may be set to launch a bid for Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund should Philippe Coutinho end up joining Barcelona.
Coutinho is a top target of the Spanish giants who view him as a replacement for Neymar after the Brazilian recently joined French outfit PSG in a World record deal.
The American sensation Pulisic is highly rated and produced a solid performance for Dortmund during their DFL Super Cup defeat to Bayern Munich this past weekend.
Pulisic is thought to be valued at around £30 million, which is a modest price for a club of the caliber of Liverpool.
It will be hard to see the youngster staying at Dortmund for the long-term future, especially as he is already starting and scoring goals for the club and the United States national team despite being just 18.
He has also been heralded as the future of American soccer and this is definitely a player who we will be seeing much more of going into the future.
