According to reports, French club Marseille are looking to finalize a deal for Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi before the end of the week.
Villa have already made their stance clear that they will sell Amavi at the right price and Marseille are reportedly looking to sign the player on a loan deal this season before making the transfer permanent for around £9 million next summer.
The French international Amavi has been linked with a move away from the Villains all summer. He was on the verge of a move to Sevilla before the deal was called off as he reportedly failed a medical at the Spanish club, a claim which Villa strongly deny.
Along with Amavi, the Villains have also listed Ross McCormack, Tommy Elphick and Gary Gardner as being available for transfer. McCormack has been strongly linked with a move to Sunderland, who are looking to add a new striker to their side.
