French side reportedly keen on making Liverpool star the 2nd most expensive player ever

According to Le Parisien, PSG are keen on adding one more marquee signing to their ranks this summer, despite recently completing a £198million deal for Neymar.

Liverpool’s most-talked-about player of the transfer window Philippe Coutinho is said to be their top target, though he’s a plan B should a move for Kylian Mbappe fail.

Considering their unrivalled spending power, the Ligue 1 goliaths won’t likely baulk at a £100million asking price for the 24-year-old.

Neymar desires to play alongside his childhood friend in a team that already has fellow Brazil internationals Dani Alves, Lucas Moura, Thiago Silva, and Marquinhos.

Liverpool have insisted they would do everything within their power to hold on to Coutinho, but they are now left fighting at two fronts, with Barcelona still very much keen on the midfielder.

Widespread reports claim the Catalans have already agreed a deal in principle to land the South American star, and that the Liverpool board have already sanctioned a sale.

With PSG now ready to rival Barca for the Reds most valuable asset, the question now begging to be answered is, when Coutinho will leave this summer, and not if he’s leaving.
