Liverpool reportedly earmark 24-year-old as replacement for Coutinho

According to reports, Liverpool have earmarked West Ham star Manuel Lanzini as their choice to replace Philippe Coutinho.

Spanish giants Barcelona are looking to lure Coutinho and according to reports, they have managed to reach a deal with the Brazil international over a transfer.

Coutinho became a priority target for the Catalan giants following the departure of Neymar to French Ligue 1 club PSG in a world record deal.

With Liverpool looking to challenge for trophies during the upcoming season, they will now be reportedly looking to get their replacement for Coutinho from within the Premier League by signing Lanzini.

The attacking midfielder may also be keen on moving to the Reds in order to experience Champions League football.

After a series of promising performances for the Hammers last season, Lanzini has established himself as one of the best creative playmakers in the Premier League and his efforts were rewarded with a call up to the Argentina national team.
