West Ham reportedly on the verge of sanctioning the transfer of 27-year-old

According to reports, Turkish club Galatasary are close to signing West Ham star Sofiane Feghouli.

Feghouli arrived at the Hammers last summer and failed to impress during his first season at the London Stadium, which has led to the Turkish club making him a priority target for the season ahead.

Now Chief executive of Galatasary Cenk Urgan said that the deal is almost complete, revealing, “We have agreed on everything with Feghouli, and his room at the training camp centre is ready and waiting for him.”

For the Hammers, the sale will be a welcome addition of funds. The East London club have spent a lot of money on recruiting Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic and this will allow them to recoup some of the funds that they spent.

The exit of Feghouli will also free up space within the squad. He was not particularly impressive last season and many Hammers fans will be happy to see him go.
