As per the Nottingham Post, Everton youngster Kieran Dowell should officially complete a season-long loan move to Nottingham Forest in the coming hours.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder helped the Toffees to victory in the Premier League 2 last term, while also playing a huge role as the England youth team emerged victorious at the Under-20 World Cup this summer.
Dowell is highly-rated at Goodison Park having emerged through the youth ranks to make it to the first team setup.
His last Premier League appearances both came towards the end of the 2015/16 season, and he will now be expected to feature prominently for Forest next term.
The Championship outfit are hoping to earn promotion to the Premier League at the end of the 2017-18 campaign following 9 consecutive seasons in the second-tier.
Having tasted success with the under-21’s topflight league, Dowell’s experience and talents should come handy in ensuring things go well for Forest having narrowly escaped the drop to League One by the whiskers last term.
Playing regularly in the tough and rough terrains of the Championship would definitely make Kieran Dowel a better player going forward, and he could be back strongly in contention for first team football at Goodison Park next summer.
