According to reports, Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi is attracting the interest of a number of clubs from France.
The 23-year-old Amavi looked destined to join Spanish club Sevilla last month, but the deal collapsed after he reportedly failed a medical in Spain according to the La Liga side.
This claim from the Spanish club caused tension between them and Villa as the latter club refuted the claims.
Ligue one giants Monaco and Marseille are now the two of the clubs that have been linked with the signature of Amavi.
Villa manager Steve Bruce has said that although he will allow the player to leave, he would be happy to see him stay if no deal can be reached.
The 56-year-old had said, “Hey, if I’m stuck with Jordan Amavi it isn’t a bad one. There are one or two you might have to sacrifice to bring in what you want.
“I never thought I would be selling Nathan Baker but all of a sudden it’s rolled into a transfer in the space of a week. It makes sense for everyone.”
