As per Sky Sports News, Leicester City winger Demarai Gray is keen on leaving the King Power Stadium this summer in search of frequent first-team football.
As a result, Everton have reportedly registered their interest in signing the England under-21 international.
Gray is as highly rated as they come, but he hasn’t been able to hold down a starting berth in the Foxes lineup since arriving from Birmingham City for £3.5million in January 2016.
Of his 39 total appearances for the previous season’s EPL winners last term, only 9 were league starts
Toffees’ boss Ronald Koeman wants more depth in his attack, and Gray could be a perfect addition due to his unique set of skills.
His pace, dribbling and finishing prowess come handy in both possession-based and counter-attacking football.
The 21-year-old winger is widely expected to go all the way to the top of the game, and it’s why Leicester City still want to hold on to him.
If he were to move as he wishes, though, then it wouldn’t be on the cheap – likely more than double the amount he arrived the club for 18 months ago.
With Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund also keen on Gray, Everton have got some big fight at hand.
