Liverpool have reportedly informed Italian club AS Roma that they will have to pay £30 million if they wish to sign Mamadou Sakho.
The 27-year-old Sakho was sent out on loan to Crystal Palace for the second half of last season and was impressive, helping the club to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
He has recently been reported to have had a fallout with Reds manager Klopp last summer and was left out of the Merseyside clubs pre-season tour of the United States.
Klopp may also not see a future for Sakho at his club considering he has the likes of Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Ragnar Klavan to call upon and he will allow the Frenchman to leave for £30 million.
In all probability, a deal will happen and Sakho will be leaving Anfield but is destination is unknown. The Reds may however have trouble convincing Crystal Palace and Roma to fork out the £30 million that will be required of them.
