According to reports, West Ham are not wanting to sell Winston Reid this summer despite reports suggesting that Everton could be set to bid £9 million for the New Zealand international.
The Toffees are said to have been targeting Reid as they view him as a candidate to provide cover for Ramiro Funes Mori, who is expected to miss a large portion of next season through injury.
However it now appears that the East London Club have no intention of selling the 29-year-old as the new season approaches.
Reid made 30 appearances in the League last term for the Hammers and is also one of the clubs longest serving player, having been on its books since 2010.
His experience may be crucial to the club ahead of next season which is why they may be reluctant to let him go. Therefore, it will be very difficult for the Toffees to try and clinch a deal.
