Although Joe Hart is expected to be West Ham’s first choice goalkeeper for the upcoming season, it now appears that Adrian will be offered a new deal by the club.
As Adrian will lose his first choice position at the club, which he won from Darren Randolph towards the end of last season, recent reports had suggested that the Spanish international could be set to leave the London Stadium, with Newcastle United and Crystal Palace said have had an interest in signing him.
However, it looks like West Ham will keep hold of Adrian this summer.
Adrian will be a good backup option for Hart considering that he has plenty of experience under his belt and also played a starring role for the East London club when they impressively finished seventh in the League during the 2015-16 season.
It however remains to be seen whether the 30-yea- old will be happy to act as cover.
