According to reports, Leeds United have slapped a £20 million price tag on Chris Wood.
The New Zealand international Wood finished as the Championship top goal scorer last season with 27 goals and is wanted by Premiership clubs such as Stoke, Swansea and Tottenham.
The 25-year-old currently has two more years remaining on his current contract at Elland Road and Leeds do not want to lose him as he will likely form a major part of the Whites’ plans as they look to win promotion to the Premier League next season.
The Yorkshire club managed to ward off interest from the Chinese Super League in signing Wood during the January transfer window and they will likely have to once again fight to keep him at the club this summer.
The New Zealand international has previously indicated that he has a desire to score goals in the top flight so a move to the Premier League could tempt him.
