According to Transfermarketweb, Everton are back for Czech international and Udinese midfielder Jakub Jankto, as boss Ronald Koeman looks to add 3 more summer signings to his squad.
Jankto was on the Toffees’ radar last summer upon Koeman’s arrival from Southampton, and it seems the Dutch manager has renewed interest in the 21-year-old winger.
Following a loan stint with Serie B side Ascoli in 2015, Jakub returned to Udinese a better player; landing himself a spot in manager Luigi Delneri’s starting XI.
In 29 Serie A outings last term, the attacking midfielder registered 5 goals and 4 assists.
His overall performances obviously caught the eyes of many big clubs’ scouts. Jakub won’t be prized away from the Dacia Arena on the cheap, though.
He has 4 years left on his contract, and Udinese are under no pressure to sanction a sale.
The youngster is adept at taking set-pieces, playing key passes and holding on to the ball, and can add an extra layer of verve to Everton’s attack if gotten.
The Merseysiders, however, face a daunting task of luring him to Goodison Park, with very huge competition for his signature.
