According to The Mirror, Leeds United have set the price for their striker Chris Wood. Apparently, the Peacocks want £20 million for the New Zealand international.
During the previous year, the 25-year-old became the top scorer in the Sky Bet Championship, netting 27 goals.
After a fantastic last season, in which Wood played a key role in Leeds United, many Premier League clubs are inquiring about him.
Peacocks, however, didn’t officially stated the price until today.
Wood came to Elland Road during 2014. In 85 matches played, he has scored 43 goals, growing into one of the best strikers in the whole of Britain.
His career on the island started in 2009, when he arrived at West Bromwich Albion, but he never had a chance to secure a first team place. He was often sent to various loans, until 2013, once he joined Leicester City. Throughout his time at King Power stadium, Chirs Wood scored 12 goals in 52 appearances.
Also, he is a regular member of New Zealand national team, for which he has played 52 games, putting his name on the score sheet on 20 occasions.
