Rangers boss speaks about Bruno Alves

Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has praised his countryman Bruno Alves, stating that the Portuguese international will improve the overall condition of his team’s defense.

According to the Daily Record, the Portuguese manager has expressed his belief that the experienced defender will be at his best for the start of the season, which he also believes refers to the whole defensive line.

Caixinha said “He’s a great boy, a great man that this club needs, especially having at the back that sort of leadership and experience and understanding of the game.”

Pedro Caixinha also said that Bruno Alves is a very experienced individual, who is highly needed by Rangers.

His presence on the field is something priceless, and that was evident since his debut for the Gers against Olympique Marseille.

Bruno Alves joined Rangers this summer. In his wealthy career, he was a member of several prominent teams such as Porto, Fenerbahce, Zenit St Petersburg and a regular member of Portuguese national selection. In 2016, he won UEFA European Championship with Portugal.
