According to reports by the Daily Express, Chelsea are lining up a sizeable offer for England International Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Liverpool have registered an interest in the versatile winger, with Klopp reportedly an admirer of the former Southampton man, but look to be out done by the Premier League holders.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is yet to sign a new contract with Arsenal, rejecting a £100,000-a-week deal coming into the 2017/18 season.
Many Premier League clubs have been on high alert following the 23-year-old’s decision to reject the new contract.
It is believed that for any move to transpire, a bid of at least £25million will have to be made. This kind of money might price Liverpool out of a move for Oxlade-Chamberlain and force Klopp to look elsewhere.
Manchester City has also been touted as a possible destination, after Guardiola failed to land top transfer target Alexis Sanchez.
