According to reports, West Ham are interested in signing Jack Wilshere from Arsenal.
Wilshere, who spent the past season on loan with Bournemouth, is expected to be allowed to leave the Gunners for a fee in the region of £20 million this summer.
Wilshere was once heralded as one of the brightest English talents; however injuries have hampered his progress throughout the years.
Though manager Arsene Wenger has stated that he wishes for the player to remain a part of his team, Wilshere may struggle for regular playing time once he returns to full fitness.
The 25-year-old currently has one more year left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium and this summer will be the final chance that the Gunners get to cash in on a sale of the player.
While the Hammers are interested, it remains to be seen if they will fork out the money required to lure Wilshere – especially given his injury problems.
