Experienced full back Emilio Izaguirre has left the Parkhead, and is headed for Saudi Arabia to play for Al-Fayha during the next two years.
Al-Fayha finished second in the Saudi second division last season and they have been promoted to the top division for the upcoming year.
The Scotsman reports that the Hoops will receive £1.25 million as a compensation for this move and the money might be used to bring Jamie Walker from Hearts.
The agile left-back played 251 games for Celtic and scored 5 goals, becoming one of the pivotal players for the Hoops in the past six years.
During his time in Glasgow, Izaguirre had won 10 trophies – 6 titles, 2 League Cups, and 2 Scottish Cups.
In his career, the 31-year-old has played for only two clubs. Motagua in his home country and Celtic. Since 2007, he has been a regular member of the Honduras national team, for which he appeared 88 times and scored 3 goals.
