Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford has claimed that his side have good strength in depth and can go far during the upcoming season.
Pickford who has been heralded as a future first choice goalkeeper for the England national team joined the Toffees on the back of some brilliant performances for Sunderland last season.
Now Pickford has made a prediction for his new club, saying, “We can go as far as we want to.
We’ve got the team and we’ve got the depth as well, which is massive, especially in the Europa League, but also week in, week out in the Premier League. The club is showing massive ambition and that’s one of the reasons I came to the club.”
Everton have been one of the most active sides in the transfer market this summer and have thus far recruited the likes of Wayne Rooney, Davy Klaassen, Pickford, Henry Onyekuru, Sandro Ramirez and Michael Keane.
They are aiming to secure a top four finish next season and will hope that their new signings can help them to achieve their goal.
