West Ham reportedly agree a £24million deal for 22-year-old striker

According to reports, West Ham have reached an agreement with Lazio over a €27.5 million deal for Keita Balde Diao.

The 22-year-old caught the attention of many clubs across Europe last season as he scored 16 goals and provided 3 assists during a breakout campaign.

It had been suggested earlier in the month that Inter Milan were nearing a deal for the Senegal international as a possible replacement for Ivan Perisic, who has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United but nothing has come of it as of yet.

Whether the player ends up leaving Lazio and moving to East London will come down to his own choice at the end.

However, a move to West Ham could be tempting for the striker as it will likely offer him higher wages as well as the opportunity to compete in the Premier League. Should West Ham manage to sign Diao, it will be a coup as he is a very talented young player.
