According to reports, Everton are one of the teams that are considering signing Loic Remy from Chelsea this summer.
After failing to establish himself within the Chelsea squad, Remy is said to be allowed to speak to other clubs this summer.
The Frenchman spent last season on loan with Crystal Palace but his season was hampered by injuries and he managed just eight appearances, failing to find the back of the net.
Though the 30-year-old Remy has not featured much for the past two years, he is very experienced and boasts a decent scoring record for clubs including Newcastle, Queens Park Rangers, Marseille and Nice.
Everton boss Ronald Koeman needs to add at least one striker to his squad following the departure of Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United and Remy could be a good option.
Everton fans will likely be divided as to whether the Merseyside club should consider a swoop for Remy considering his fate over the past two seasons.
