Rangers reportedly set to place another bid for 24-year-old attacker

According to reports, Rangers will bid once more for Hearts star Jamie Walker. After three failed bids for Walker, the Gers are set to make another attempt to complete his signing.

Hearts boss Ian Cathro views Walker as an integral part of the Hearts new front three alongside Kyle Lafferty and Isma Goncalves and does not want to sell.

However, there is a strong chance that Hearts will end up losing Walker on a free transfer next summer should they not sell now and this summer will present their final opportunity to cash in on a sale.

As a potential obstacle to the deal, the Gers are said to be unwilling to meet the £1 million evaluation that Hearts have placed on the player.

Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha knows that he may need to strongly work on his side, especially considering their embarrassing early exit from Europe. He is likely to attempt one last time to try and sign Walker as he looks to bolster his side.
