West Ham reportedly set to finalize deal for 30-year-old star

Joe Hart

According to reports, West Ham are looking to finalize a deal to secure the signature of Joe Hart during the next few days.

It is believed that the England first choice goalkeeper Hart will join the Hammers on a one year loan deal, with the option to make the transfer permanent next summer.

After being frozen out from Manchester City’s first team plans last summer, Hart spent the past season on loan with Serie A outfit Torino and revealed in May that he was likely to be in the Premier League during the upcoming season.

A move to the Hammers will be beneficial for both Hart and the club. Both Adrian and Darren Randolph struggled to convince that they are capable of holding down the first choice position during the past season so the addition of Hart may be good for the side.

The 30-year-old will also be aware that he will need to play regularly if he wants to cement his position as England first choice shot-stopper for the 2018 World Cup and Slaven Bilic’s side could offer him the regular football that he needs.
