West Ham reportedly have to splash £30million to sign attacker

West Ham United will have to break their club transfer record should they wish to sign Marko Arnautovic from Stoke City.

The Potters are reported to have rejected a second offer of £20 million from the Hammers for the player and are said to demanding a fee in the region of £30 million.

As the Austrian international still has three years remaining on his current deal, Mark Hughes’s side are looking to cash in on a transfer.

The 28-year-old Arnautovic is also said to be keen on a move and recently made his intentions known by handing in a transfer request to the club.

The Hammers are looking to bolster their attack after a disappointing past season, during which they finished 11th in the League.

They do have a strong interest in signing Arnautovic and there is a real chance that the player will be part of the Hammers ahead of the start of next season.
