Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is set for failure in his attempts to sign Tottenham star Eric Dier, with Spurs unwilling to listen to any offers for the player at this point in time.
Mourinho is said to have made the 23-year-old Dier a top target this summer as he hopes to bolster his midfield ahead of next season.
The Red Devils saw a bid for the player rejected earlier in the summer, though vice-chairman Ed Woodward has kept in contact with Daniel Levy of Spurs in the hopes of securing a deal.
It now appears that all the attempts which United made to try and land the England international Dier will end in failure as Spurs are not prepared to sell him for any price.
Dier played a crucial role for Mauricio Pochettino’s side last season, which ended off the season in second position. He will again play a big role for the side next term as they will look to win major silverware.
