According to reports, Glasgow Rangers have opened talks with Partick Thistle over a transfer of out-of-favor striker Michael O’ Halloran.
O’ Halloran reportedly is not part of Pedro Caixinha’s future plans for the Gers and the club will be open to listening to offers for him this summer.
Rangers have also managed to sign the likes of Eduardo Herrera and Alfredo Morelos this summer which will reduce O’ Halloran’s chances of first team football next season.
Thistle are keen on boosting their forward options next season and the addition of O’ Halloran could be a good fit for them. They will however have to compete with St Johnstone, who the player left to join Rangers for £500,000 in February 2016.
O’ Halloran played 24 matches for Partick last season and failed to make a real impact at the club, scoring just three goals. A move will be good for his career at this stage.
