According to reports, Leeds United could be set to rival Celtic in the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic.
The 22-year-old Pasalic has never managed to make a name for himself within the Chelsea setup and has been loaned out of the club.
Pasalic displayed impressive form last season during a loan spell with AC Milan and both Leeds as well as Celtic wish to add them to their squad ahead of next season.
At this stage of his career, Pasalic should look to move away from the Blues, especially considering that he should ideally be playing regular first team football during his formative years.
Pasalic currently has two caps to his name for the Croatia national team and the midfielder will also need to play more regular first team football if he wants to play a role in his country’s plans for the showpiece World Cup next year.
