Rangers suffer disgraceful defeat in Luxembourg

Glasgow Rangers have already finished their international European season as they were eliminated in the first round of the Europa League qualifications.

After winning at Ibrox 1-0 in the first leg, Rangers were shock by Luxembourg team, Progres Niederkorn, after suffering a 2-0. The night has to be one of the worst in the last couple of years for the Rangers fans.

After manager Pedro Caixinha brought many new players, announcing the revolution at Ibrox Park, the fans and the management would have expected something better than such humiliation.

Many of them have anticipated for the Gers to retain their spot among the top clubs in Europe, but it seems that this plan will have to wait for another year.

It has to be noted that that at some points of the clash, luck was not on their side as three of the Gers players, Niko Kranjcar, Josh Windass and Kenny Miller, hit the woodwork.

However, Rangers’ players evidently underestimated their opponents, coming into this game with a wrongful approach and all in all; it was a disgraceful result for the former Cup Winners Cup holder.
