Celtic captain and now legendary icon Scott Brown will be receiving a testimonial after spending ten years at the club. This has been confirmed by Celtic FC’s official website today.
The post had remarks from Celtic FC Chief Executive Peter Lawwell that said “Scott has served Celtic brilliantly over the past decade. He has given everything to the Club and has played such an important role in bringing us success after success.
Brown was already a legend at the club ahead of last season, but helping the side obtain the treble as well as achieve an undefeated domestic season has only seen his name become even bigger in the hearts and minds of Celtic fans.
Whether you like the kind of play that Brown brings or not, you do have to respect his longevity and production for one club. But don’t think this is the end of the line! There will still be plenty more days when Brown leads the Hoops onto the pitch.
