According to reports, Burnley are eyeing a £5 million move for Sheffield Wednesday star Tom Lees as they prepare for life without Michael Keane, who is expected to link up with Everton next week. It is being reported that Keane will complete a £31 million move to Everton on Monday.
Burnley are now aware that they will lose their star defender and have begun looking at possible replacement options with Lees being on the list.
Lees currently has four years left on his current deal and has attracted interest from clubs such as Middlesbrough, Derby County, Huddersfield Town, Sunderland and Hull City.
Keane was one of the outstanding defenders in the Premier League this past season and his performances have led to him being included in the England setup. Therefore, his incoming move to Everton comes as no surprise.
Keane had also been linked with a move back to boyhood club Manchester United though that ended after they signed Victor Lindelof.
