As the BBC reports, Angelo Ogbonna has signed a new deal with West Ham, and he will not be leaving the club this summer.
The Italian international was reportedly a transfer target for Serie A side Sampdoria, and a host of other clubs was monitoring his situation at London Stadium.
However, it seems that transfer talks are now resolved, and there will be no move for the player who arrived in England from Juventus in 2015.
During his stay with the Hammers, Ogbonna has impressed with his performances. Unfortunately, the defender also had to miss almost the entire second part of last season because of a knee surgery he underwent in January.
But, he made a comeback in the last game, and it is expected that he will be ready to join the club on their pre-season tour to Germany and Austria.
