According to reports, Liverpool’s Sheyi Ojo prefers a move to Newcastle United. The 20-year-old Ojo joined Liverpool as a 14-year-old six years ago.
It has been reported that manager Jurgen Klopp is happy to send him out on loan for the upcoming season after he enjoyed a rather disappointing 2016-17 campaign.
During the past season, the youngster managed to make just one start and one appearance off the bench. He is definitely not as yet ready to play on a regular basis for a team such as Liverpool and will need to gain confidence and match experience elsewhere.
Middlesbrough as well as Burnley are also interested in bringing in the winger, however it is the Magpies who currently lead the race to sign him.
Rafa Benitez is said to have identified Ojo as someone who he feels can add pace to his side ahead of their return to the Premier League.
