As the Football.London finds out, West Ham could suffer a huge financial loss as their Ecuadorian striker Enner Valencia prepares to leave the club during the summer.
Reportedly, Valencia is involved in serious talks with Tigres in Mexico, but sources are saying that his former club Pachuca could snatch the deal at the last moment.
Either way, the Hammers will suffer a financial setback since they paid £12 million for his services in 2015. Nowadays, the estimated worth of the Ecuadorian striker is around £5 million, which is less than half of what West Ham invested in the player.
During his stay with the Hammers, Valencia did not manage to nail his place in the starting lineup, and his performances were largely disappointing. He did, however, manage to score 10 goals in 61 appearances for the club.
Manager Slaven Bilic will be willing to offload the striker and cut his losses as he prepares to bring in fresh attacking options during the summer transfer window.
