According to reports, Theo Walcott is a target of West Ham United. The Hammers are keen to strengthen their forward options ahead of next season and Gunners striker Olivier Giroud is said to be one of their priority targets.
Now it seems that they have also set sights of luring Walcott as well. The Hammers have said to have made Walcott a £28 million target.
The 28-year-old Walcott’s current contract at the Emirates Stadium is valid till 2019 and he may be open to leaving the club as he is now also no longer guaranteed of a call-up to the England national team due to lack of opportunities.
Walcott may favor a move to the London Stadium as he looks to secure a place in the England squad for the 2018 World Cup. Should the pacey attacked opt to join Slaven Bilic’s side, it is very likely that he will play more regularly.
