Leeds United left back Charlie Taylor will be making a move up from the Championship to the Premier League come July 1st, according to the Burnley Express. The move of course, then, will be to Burnley Football Club.
This move comes on the back of much controversy this season after Taylor refused to play at one point last season after Leeds refused to let him be sold. So to say that this move wasn’t coming would be a folly.
On the field, Taylor has earned his shot at a step up with very solid play for last season’s seventh place finishers. This will be a big move for Burnley, who are looking to get younger and better in defence. They have just seen Jon Flanagan go back to Liverpool after a poor campaign.
Leeds will need to regroup after a tough end to the season last term, and they will be hoping this move won’t affect them too much going forward.
