According to reports, Everton are nearing a deal for Queens Park Rangers youngster Josh Bowler.
The Toffees have already had two offers rejected for Bowler but are now confident that they will eventually manage to sign him.
Considering the reputation which Ronald Koeman has developed for developing and nurturing and developing young players, Bowler may also prefer a move to the Merseyside club.
Bowler turned professional in February and made his debut during his club’s 4-0 defeat at the hands of Norwich City on the final day of this past Sky Bet Championship season.
Should Bowler join the Toffees, the chances are likely that he will be loaned out to gain more first team experience.
The Merseyside club are looking to bolster their side as they look to challenge for a place in the top four next season. Thus far, they have already signed Davy Klaassen as well as Jordan Pickford.
