Everton reportedly step up interest in 20-year-old striker

According to reports from France, Everton may step up their interest in young French striker Martin Terrier.

The 20-year-old Terrier showed signs of promise this past season by bagging two goals in 15 appearances in all competitions for Lille.

The youngster is very versatile, being able to operate as a support striker as well as on the wing and has also grabbed the attention of West Ham as well as Fiorentina.

Terrier also appeared for France under-20 in the recent World Cup and scored one goal, which came against Honduras.

Terrier is not as yet ready to appear for the Everton first team on a regular basis as he still needs to undergo a lot of development. However he may be a good investment for the future.

The young man may develop into a world class striker in future years as he matures and should he be bought now, he may provide good value for money during the long-term.e
